Thought Thursday – Self-Care

For those of you not receiving my monthly newsletter, I wrote about my son-in-law’s brother who suffered a serious brain aneurysm on Easter Sunday. Such tragedy hitting so close to home puts so many things in perspective, not the least of which the power of family, love, and connection–and the need to pace yourself.

Rather than get in to details of the family tragedy here, the link below shares the story:

Aneursym strikes on Easter

We’ve been hosting some of the affected family members the last week, and will continue to do what we can to support them through the next weeks and months of Ryan’s recovery. Prior to this tragedy, I was already noticing an escalation in my feelings of stress, as I noted in last week’s Thought Thursday post. So, to ensure I don’t burn myself out, and because I have a book I want to get ready for market, I’ve decided to take an indefinite break from weekly blog posts. I will continue to put out my monthly newsletter, which you can sign up for below.

Thank you for understanding, and take care,

Deborah
